As a busy professional, mother, father, student, sibling, husband, wife, we burn the candle at both ends these days. We juggle all this and perhaps our own mental health issues and/or addictions as we navigate these deep woods called life. It isn’t easy, especially if you experience Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, or are dealing with family conflicts or doing your best to help your oppositional defiant youth, you feel like the water gets deeper and deeper each day and you just can’t seem to move to more shallow waters. All this leads to continued frustration, anxiety, worry and perhaps aggravated symptoms you are also already struggling with.
Mind Menders Counseling was born out of years of experience and the knowledge of how important a warm, inviting, personal, laid back, and customized experience is for patients. We strive to have you walk into a home away from home, where the offices resemble no such thing, where you speak directly to and work only with your therapist instead of a stranger and have the confidence and security in knowing that you wont be "assigned to" a new professional out of the blue and will be left to start the process of getting to know your clinician all over again. An unfortunate consequence of many large agencies. Mind Menders Counseling was created to be different, because there are hundreds of brightly lit, generic offices with receptionists behind glass barriers, providers who are only accessible during the session time, and limited insurance network participation.
